Gift Shop Chanukah Open House Sunday, December 6 1:00 – 2:00pm

The Gift Shop stocks an extensive selection of Chanukah merchandise including menorahs, candles, gelt, games, decoration, toys, books, and greeting cards. Please bring your shopping list and patronize the Gift Shop. You may also schedule a time to meet Herb at the Gift Shop. Contact the office for information.

Temple Beth Sholom to host Rocky Mountain Jewgrass
On Saturday, December 5 at 7:00pm, Rocky Mountain Jewgrass will perform at Temple Beth Sholom, 4200 SW Munson Ave. in Topeka. Rocky Mountain Jewgrass was launched in 2007 and has quickly become a festival, synagogue and events favorite, entertaining Jewish and non-Jewish audiences alike. LJCC invited to special Chanukah Concert – Beit Tefilah Israeli (BTI)
On Saturday, December 12 at 7:00pm, a free community Chanukah concert will take place at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, 12320 Nall Avenue in Overland Park. This concert will feature Rabbi Esteban Gottfried and Beit Tefilah Israeli (BTI). BTI is a young and fast-growing, liberal, independent and inclusive community in urban Tel Aviv that is committed to Jewish spirit, culture, and social action. Kansas City is delighted to be able to welcome BTI to celebrate the last night of Chanukah. We will begin with Havdalah, followed by a concert. The LJCC is invited to attend. Special Note: There has been a request for a ride from Lawrence to the concert. If you plan to attend and would like to help out, please contact Marty in the LJCC office.
