Join Cambridge City Councillor Nadeem Mazen in moderating a panel of local sharing economy thought leaders as they discuss effects new technologies and cultures are having on our community and how they can benefit us all. Panelists will consider private and public sector strategies for shaping habits and regulating markets. Discussion will originate from a mutual understanding that the sharing economy is having both positive and negative effects on different segments of our community.

Nadeem Mazen is a local business owner, educator, and innovator. After moving to Cambridge for undergraduate and graduate work at MIT, Nadeem fell in love with the city and opened two small businesses in Central Square. Both provide community access to cutting-edge technology, services, and job training. Elected in 2013 to the Cambridge City Council as a first-time challenger, Nadeem is running for re-election in 2015.
