  22. 'We parked the bus'

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic:  "We played good, we started well. We were well organised, and had a plan. The players worked to the plan perfectly. Their movement, concentration and possession was top level.

"We parked the bus but we didn't put the handbrake on. It was simply great defending when we didn't have the ball."

  23. GREAT SAVE!

    Tottenham 0-0 Everton

Harry Kane is onside, he's clean through, is this his first goal of the season...no!

Tim Howard stands up and makes a great save, Kane was very hesitant though. A few months ago that would have whistled into the net.

  24. 'Mourinho is the top man'

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew on BBC Sport: “It was a really good performance today - one of the best performances I’ve seen from one of my teams in terms of composure.

"We can frighten teams with our pace and we did that from start to finish. Our defenders had to defend really well and they did. We’ve added new players but haven’t lost our spirit. We have got technically better players than last season. I’m not saying we’re contenders for Europe but we’re a good side.

"Mourinho is the top man, he was very honourable in defeat today."

    Chelsea Palace
  25. 'Mistakes can happen'

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Sport: "The first goal is a cheap goal and that gave them a motivation and fight. The second was a mistake, which can happen. We started brightly and then had Coutinho sent off. I didn't think that was a sending off and neither was the one for Noble as well.

"We didn't defend moments well at all. We need to be much better than that. That opportunity to work the goalkeeper didn't happen. We are disappointed but we'll reflect on it and come back and look to win our next  game."

Jason Roberts on Final Score:  "On the evidence of today I think Liverpool are going to have a disappointing season. Benteke didn't get into the game at all, they need more work on the training ground."

  28. 'No common sense'

    Stoke 0-1 West Brom

More from Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "We were so clearly the dominant team in the opening stages. It was only a matter of time before we created a chance but unfortunately the referee only saw one side of the coin with the Affelay red card. He raised his hands, which is a sending off. But you have to see the whole incident. He reacted to Craig Gardner raising his hands towards him.

"We had 28,000 people here to see a quality Premier League game and the officials need to take that into account. They were too quick to hand cards around. If I complain to the powers-that-be I will get a double-sided piece of paper with an explanation - but where is the common sense?"

  31. 'We woz robbed'

    Aston Villa 2-2 Sunderland

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood: "Anyone who watched that game knows that we should have won. We had 22 shots, the keeper has pulled off a 'worldy 'save and we should have had a penalty. We have been robbed.

"It definitely should have been a penalty. Younes Kaboul pulls out but there's contact - it is a penalty. My team couldn't have done any more today."

  32. Post update

Damien Delaney brings you back to earth, Palace fans. Ten wins from safety.

  33. '31 more points and I'll be happy'

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Palace defender Damien Delaney on BBC Sport: “That was full throttle for 90 minutes. It wasn’t a sit-in, 11-men beside the ball game. We had a good few chances and could have made it more comfortable.

“We’ve come here the last two years, sat in and got beat. But we said ‘if we’re going to get beat, let’s have a go’. Once we got them on the back foot we thought we could keep them low after their start to the season.

"There was a lot of Chelsea men in the box at the end, Kurt Zouma came forward. We were trying to throw ourselves in the way of everything.

"It’s three points, that’s all it is. We have nine points so far, 31 more and I’ll be happy – whether we get them by Christmas or May.”

  35. 'We had no personality'

    Bournemouth 1 Leicester 1

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri tells BBC Sport: "We conceded the goal and until then we were playing well. After the goal we slowed down the tempo and had no great personality.

"There were 10 minutes when Bournemouth played very well. In the second half we put them under pressure and made some good chances. I think at the end we deserved to draw.

"It's important to take one point from a difficult match.

"We have a week now where the players go to their national team and when they come back we must re-start with the same mentality."

    Claudio Ranieri

  36. Manager reaction

    Bournemouth 1-1 Leicester

Eddie Howe tells BBC Sport : "Injuries were key in the game, particularly in our ability to change tactically and it's not nice when you see your team-mates going off injured.

"They all look nasty and at the moment they are in the treatment room being assessed, although we won't know how serious they are until they get scanned.

"I think we've had a decent enough start in terms of performances. I'm a bit disappointed not to have got more points. I thought we could have got three today but sometimes you have to be grateful for a point."

  37. Post update

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

West Brom manager Tony Pulis: "To play Manchester City and Chelsea in our first two home games, it's been a tough start. For us to be sat with four points from four games is not bad. We're happy with that."

On the potential purchase of Jonny Evans: "We're hopeful we'll get it over the line tonight or in the morning. We have to bring in some players and we're working hard on that. Jonny has got great pedigree, he would be a great signing for us."

Plenty of reaction and fallout to come form the 3pm games here, but the day's late game is about to get under way.

I'll bring you the choice cuts but you can follow a blow-by-blow account here.

  43. Not at the right level says Mourinho

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on BBC Sport: "Congratulations to Palace. It’s a fantastic result for them and a very good performance. We didn’t deserve to lose. But Palace gave us a very difficult game. The result should be a draw, which would still be bad for us. We did enough not to lose. We had good opportunities, a huge penalty appeal at 0-0.

"My two centre-backs and keeper played a very good game. We created lots of chances but we had a couple of players who were not in the game. When the team is not consistent and there aren’t 10 players on the pitch at a certain level it’s difficult. I said before the season, it’d be more difficult to win matches against non-title candidates as they all have good players and good teams - like West Ham winning at Liverpool today."

  44. Post update

    Man City 2-0 Watford

    John Hartson

Former Wales striker on Final Score

"I'm not sure Manchester City need Kevin De Bruyne. If anyone can finish above them, they'll win the league."

  45. Manager reaction

    Stoke 0-1 West Brom

West Brom boss Tony Pulis, when asked if Stoke deserved to have two men sent off:  "Have a look and see what you think.

"We moved the ball too slowly when they went down to nine men. We tried to open it up a bit by bringing on Rickie Lambert and Callum McManaman but we couldn't. But we're just pleased to get our first win."

  46. Red cards were harsh

    Stoke 0-1 West Brom

Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "I'm delighted with the performance of my team under difficult circumstances.

"The first red card, Ibrahim Affelay reacted to being flicked in the face. By the letter of the law, maybe they both should have been sent off.

"With the second one, Charlie Adam ends up standing on the lad's leg after the other player had followed through on him. I think it was harsh.

"It's not a stamp, it's a step. To get anything from the game after that was difficult.

"They (the officials) also played a minute too long in the first half and they scored their goal in that time. I asked about that and he said it was because Jack Butland was wasting time. I don't agree with that."

    Stoke
  47. Post update

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Jason Roberts on Final Score:  "Palace deserve every credit. Scott Dann and the defensive unit got things absolutely right. Yes, Hazard didn't play well and Pedro didn't get on the ball much, but Palace stopped them."

  48. Post update

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

    John Hartson

Former Wales striker on Final Score

"It's a bizarre result. West Ham were coming off two defeats where they'd conceded six goals. Liverpool played exceptionally well against Arsenal on Monday and they had four of their new signings in the team, and they ended up getting an absolute doing."

  49. 'No malice'

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

West Ham captain Mark Noble: "I got a straight red, but I've watched it 10 times and there's no malice in it whatsoever. I've won the ball first, in my eyes it's not even a yellow. That would've been harsh.

"But we want to talk about how well we've played. We haven't won here for 52 years and want to talk about that. We know we are a good team and we showed that at Arsenal and we came here with a plan. Liverpool are a good team but we played well and deserved the three points.

"A lot of teams are winning away from home. I don't why. To win 3-0 at this place is special and I'm proud of the lads. We've lost a few players but we've got a good group of boys and we need to stick together and get ready for the next game."

    Mark Noble
  50. Post update

    Tottenham v Everton (17:30 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson

    BBC Radio 5 live

Quote Message: Some of those Tottenham players that played last week against Leicester, three or four of them did absolutely nothing. At the end of the game you were asking yourself 'what did they do?' Mousa Dembele is a good player. But why have 46 touches when one will do?
  51. Manager reaction

    Man City 2-0 Watford

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: "It was not frustrating in the first half. You can't expect to win the game inside 45 minutes against a team who defends well. We made some changes and we created more chances and won the game."

On goalscorer Raheem Sterling: "Raheem played very well. It was good for him to score. He worked very hard and I'm sure he'll score more goals."

On the potential transfer of Kevin De Bruyne: "I'll give you the same answer as always. When things are finished I will talk about it."

    Jamie Vardy
  54. Player reaction

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell:  "We knew we had to be here and be straight out the blocks from minute one and we've done that.

"The last two games were not good enough and I'll hold my hands up and say I wasn't in the last game either. But here we pressed straight from the off.

"Liverpool is a massive great club and thankfully we managed to get three points. We had a young bench - I think we need a child minder on there! - but we have got some really promising players filling in for a few injured guys."

  55. Stones to stay?

    Tottenham v Everton (17:30 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson

    BBC Radio 5 live

"If you can get £35m for John Stones now then take it. British clubs are like 'why sell our players?' But they are going to go at the end of the day. "We ground it out and got the draw which was probably a fair result and with the international break coming it just keeps the momentum going."

  59. 'Do the simple stuff well'

    Liverpool 0-3 West Ham

West Ham defender Winston Reid: "I think that means a lot for the fans, we haven't won here in a long time. Our last two games have been poor so come here and win 3-0 is great.

"We did the simple stuff right - we took chances when we had them and limited Liverpool to a couple of chances. The referee felt there was red card for Mark Noble. He was brilliant today apart from that card - I think the referee saw it as different from the players.

"We've won at Arsenal and Liverpool now which are two very difficult places to come and get results at."

    Winston Reid
  60. 'It should be a draw"

    Football League latest

Sheffield United are on course for revenge for last season's League One  play-off defeat to Swindon with a quick double from Neill Collins and Billy Sharp setting up a likely fourth successive league win as the Blades lead 2-0.

Winless  Colchester have come back from 2-0 down to level 2-2 against Scunthorpe with defender George Elokobi equalising with his first goal for the club.

Hull look to have banked the points in the Championship against Preston with Curtis Davies volleying them 2-0 following a corner.

Palace back ahead! More great play from Bakary Sako who hooks a cross from the left back across goal, full-back Joel Ward is in the danger zone but has plenty to do as he flicks a diving header into the far corner. What a header! What a result! Potentially...

Dear oh dear. If Martin Skrtel's defending for West Ham's opener wasn't too clever, this is utterly brainless from Dejan Lovren. He tries to shepherd the ball out for a throw in in the left-back position, gets away with one cumbersome touch and then has another and is robbed by Manuel Lanzini. Lanzini pulls it back and Mark Noble sidefoots into the corner. Cool as you like.

    Dejan Lovren? Awful.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at Vitality Stadium: "Bournemouth have that long-awaited feeling of a home Premier League goal. Leicester have allowed Charlie Daniels far too much space down the left in the last 10 minutes, and his cross ultimately leads to Callum Wilson's acrobatic overhead strike."

  206. Afellay hard done by?

    Stoke 0-0 West Brom

    John Hartson

Former Wales striker on Final Score

"There's nothing in it. Afellay taps him in the face. You can't raise your hands, but come on, it's so soft."

Both sides very much using their flanks, with Chelsea mostly using their right and Crystal Palace attacking down the left. The hosts have had almost 70% of possession.

  209. 'Video game stuff'

    Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

Jason Roberts on Final Score:  "Callum Wilson is the first one to react as the ball drops, and knows exactly what he wants to do. That finish is the kind of thing you dream about - I couldn't even do it on video games!"

  210. CLOSE!

    Chelsea 0-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace pose a real threat on the break and Bakary Sako forces Thibaut Courtois into a decent stop with a stinging effort. All left foot, but what a left foot.

  211. RED CARD

    Stoke 0-0 West Brom

Correction, it's Ibrahim Afellay who is off - for slapping Craig Gardner.

A massive blow for Stoke, who have also been bailed out by Jack Butland who saved superbly to deny James Morrison seconds before the flashpoint. Afellay raised his hands after being clipped by Gardner in the centre of the field.

  212. GOAL - Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

    Callum Wilson (24 mins)

Pick that one out! Callum Wilson bagged a hat-trick last week and he is straight back into the action again with a wonderfully improvised goal.

A cross from the left pinballs around the box, Max Gradel flicks on a header and Wilson launches into an overhead kick to power in to the net.

Diego Costa could start a fight in an empty lift and he is at it again. He runs into the back of Scott Dann and then wants to take it outside, before moments later he is fouled by Damien Delaney. Chopped right through him.

Costa seems to need to be wound up to play at his best.

    Football League latest

Brighton have taken an early grip on the top-of-the-table Championship game at Ipswich , leading 2-0 inside the first 15 minutes.

Goals from Kazenga Lua-Lua and Tomer Hemed are threatening Ipswich's unbeaten start to the season.

Elsewhere,  Fulham lead 2-0 at Rotherham , helped by an early goal from ex-Miller Ben Pringle.

In League One, Rochdale  boss Keith Hill is enjoying a 1-0 lead over former club Barnsle y thanks to Calvin Andrew.

    Aston 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland are wearing a horrible green number today - similar to a kit Aston Villa sported in the nineties. Back in the days of Kevin Richardson and Steve Froggatt. The hosts are dominating here. Sunderland are trying to pass the ball out from the back but always look 10 seconds away from dropping an almighty clanger.

  219. CLOSE!

    Chelsea 0-0 Crystal Palace

Pedro looks to get Chelsea up and running with a jinking run from the right, he cuts onto his left foot and bends just wide from 20 yards. That has got the crowd going...

No urgency from Manchester City - this time Jesus Navas floating the ball across the box but there's nobody there to attack it.

  222. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at Vitality Stadium:  "Max Gradel's first-minute booking has earned him plenty of 'Leicester reject' chants from the travelling Foxes fans. But with Ritchie de Laet now in the book for fouling the Ivorian, there are signs that the pace of Gradel, Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie may be the key if Bournemouth are to unlock the Leicester defence.

"At the other end, Jamie Vardy can expect a busy afternoon as Leicester's lone striker, but he can't fail to notice the man he has to beat, Cherries keeper Artur Boruc, whose fluorescent green/yellow goalkeeping outfit is brighter than even the stewards' hi-vis jackets."

  223. CLOSE!

    Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

Manuel Lanzini making a name for himself, the Hammers man driving through a gap and firing just wide on the counter. West Ham set up well to hurt Liverpool on the break.

    Stoke 0-0 West Brom

Stoke had 79% possession in the first 10 minutes of this match. They are dominating but are yet to create a good chance.

    Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

Jason Roberts on Final Score:  "Joe Gomez has got to do better. That's the difference between a goal and keeping a clean sheet - making sure Lanzini doesn't get across him there."

  231. GOAL - Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

    Scott Sinclair (Pen 11 mins)

For a man who once scored a hat-trick in a play-off final a penalty from 12 yards is easy enough. Scott Sinclair gives the keeper the eyes and rolls it home. Great start at Villa Park.

  232. PENALTY TO VILLA

    Aston Villa 0-1 Sunderland

    Lee Cattermole clatters Scott Sinclair...

  233. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

Crackerjack! The first we've seen from Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino and it's brilliant, a twist onto his left foot and then an arrow of a strike that crashes against the post.

  234. GOAL - Aston Villa 0-1 Sunderland

    Yann M'Vila (8 mins)

Yann M'Vila  gives Sunderland the lead in fine fashion, bending home a free-kick from 25 yards out. Brad Guzan had no chance. Dick Advocaat punches the air in delight.

  235. Post update

    Man City 0-0 Watford

It's all very patient build-up at the Etihad where Manchester City are stroking the ball about in their own half. David Silva ends up picking up the ball in the centre circle to try and inject some urgency. Watford keeping City at arm's length. For now.

  236. Post update

    Chelsea 0-0 Crystal Palace

Chelsea's defence - and Branislav Ivanovic in particular - are under scrutiny after a shaky start to the season but the full-back does well to block a Wilfried Zaha cross after the Palace man had originally left him for dead.

This time last year Chelsea were heads and shoulders above the rest. Slow start this time around.

  237. Prod it home

    Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

What a start for West Ham as Manuel Lanzini opens the scoring at Anfield - as shown below.

Martin Skrtel (37) should have done much better with his clearance.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Sunderland

Three of the last four meetings between these two sides at Villa Park have been goalless. Should be a good un.

  241. GOAL - Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

    Manuel Lanzini (3 mins)

What a start for West Ham! Martin Skrtel's headed clearance is really poor, it falls at the feet of Aaron Cresswell and his low cross back into the danger area is prodded in by Manuel Lanzini in front of a shocked Kop.

Lanzini, 22, is a recent signing from a club in the UAE.

Ninety-nine games, 76 wins, one defeat, 250 points. We've said it already, but that really is a great record.

Jose Mourinho takes charge of his 100th home fixture as a Premier League manager today, with visitors Crystal Palace facing perhaps the most difficult away trip in world football.

In two spells as Chelsea boss, Mourinho has lost just once in the league at Stamford Bridge - a shock 2-1 loss to Sunderland in April 2014.

"However, it was this time last season when Manchester City first came unstuck in the defence of their title, losing unexpectedly at home to Stoke.

"Home draws against Burnley and Hull demonstrated last term that their glittering array of talent can be susceptible to a drop in intensity against so called "lesser" opposition.

Aston Villa v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

"Aston Villa's 4-0 win at Sunderland in the sides' last meeting was Gus Poyet's last game as the Black Cats' boss, and a similar result might have Dick Advocaat seriously reconsidering his own future with the club.

"Whatever the outcome, it won't change the fact that he could do with adding to Friday's signing of Ola Toivonen with more new faces before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

"Tim Sherwood, meanwhile, seems to have completed his 'incoming' business successfully.

"The next step for ever-evolving Villa is to improve home form that's brought them just four wins from the last 18 league games at Villa Park."

  401. Post update

Aston Villa v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    Dick Advocaat

Sunderland have had a torrid start to the season with two defeats and a draw in the Premier League and while they picked up a win in the League Cup - 6-3 against Exeter - conceding three goals to a League Two side is still a cause for concern.

Aston Villa only have one league win so far this season but they've had a tough start with games against Crystal Palace and Manchester United and you'd fancy Rudy Gestede to cause the Black Cats defence a few problems today.

  404. 'The referee's... married to her assistant'

    Michael Oliver

Michael Oliver has had an unusual week.

After taking charge of Arsenal v Liverpool on Monday, he spent Thursday evening watching his wife Lucy officiate Arsenal Ladies v Reading Women in the Continental Cup. So far, so ordinary.

Then, at half-time, Oliver hears this announcement while sitting in the stands:

"If there is a qualified assistant referee in the stadium, please can they make themselves known."

What were the chances? Not only a qualified referee, but a Premier League/Uefa one. He promptly stepped up and ran the line for the second half of the match.

Bet that made for some interesting chat in the car on the way back to the Olivers' house that night.

Michael takes charge of West Brom v Stoke this afternoon.

I went up to him and said 'that looks good, where'd you buy that from?' (as he was walking out of the ice cream shop)...he smiled and carried on walking."

    Steve Bower

    BBC football commentator

"Arsene Wenger has described Arsenal's start as "very average" and, having watched Newcastle show renewed defensive spirit at Old Trafford, they will have to rise above that standard to get a result at St James' Park.

"Newcastle will take belief from their performance last weekend as they try to record their first league win under Steve McClaren, though they will be wary of Arsenal's obvious threat when they do click going forward.

"The Gunners haven't had many recent issues away from home, or over the last few years against Newcastle. They won't want Petr Cech in the news again this week - they need the headlines at the other end of the pitch."

    Newcastle v Arsenal (12:45 BST)

    Arsenal

Arsenal fans will no doubt settle for an uneventful 1-0 win but for all the neutrals, Newcastle versus Arsenal is a belting way to kick off the day.

In the last nine fixtures between the two, 34 goals have been scored - eight of those coming in that unforgettable 4-4 draw between the two in 2011.

That, too, was at St James' Park, with Newcastle coming back from 4-0 down. More of that please.

  412. A must-win for Arsenal?

    Newcastle v Arsenal (12:45 BST)

    Arsene Wenger

Too soon to rule someone out of the title race?

Of course it is, but if Arsenal don't beat Newcastle today, you sense their fans might start getting a little bit twitchy.

This is supposed to be the year that the Gunners show themselves as genuine title contenders, but that's not been the case so far.

Three games in and Arsenal have been less than impressive, having managed just one win, and that was an unconvincing victory at Crystal Palace.

    Darren Campbell

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against Olympic gold medal-winning sprinter Darren Campbell this week.

Campbell, who is in Beijing co-commentating on the World Athletics Championships for BBC Sport, briefly gave up athletics for football in his early 20s before returning to the track.

Since retiring from running, the Manchester United fan has worked as a sprint coach with several Premier League clubs.

You can make your predictions now, compare them to Lawro and other fans and try to take your team to the top of the leaderboard by playing the new BBC Sport Predictor game.

  416. Blues bringing in Zhangmos?

    What the papers say

    Zhangmos

And the Daily Mail has introduced me to one of THE great football nicknames with its Chelsea-related transfer rumour.

The newspaper says the Blues have offered a contract to Chinese defender Zhang Linpeng, apparently nicknamed 'Zhangmos' - a nod to Real Madrid stalwart Sergio Ramos.

    Zhangmos. Fantastic stuff.

  419. What the papers say

    The Sun

As ever on a Saturday morning, we'll take a look at what the papers are talking about today.

The main story on the back page of The Sun reports that Everton defender John Stones has "fled" his home because of safety fears.

Stones is the subject of interest from Chelsea and the newspaper claims the 21-year-old has been "terrorised by his own fans".

Chelsea v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

Ninety-nine games, 76 wins, one defeat, 250 points. I've said it already, but that really is a great record.

His record is the best of any manager in the Premier League era.

    Jon Stead

I'll weigh in with my offering. Many years ago, when I was working in well-known flat pack furniture store, I was approached by former Sunderland and Blackburn striker Jon Stead, who asked me where he could find the coffee tables.

Now I am a Huddersfield Town fan. This was when he had just come through the youth team at the Terriers and was banging in goals for fun. After pointing him in the right direction, I, rather awkwardly, piped up with: "Nice one for playing for Huddersfield."

He responded with a nervous 'cheers' before swiftly shuffling off.

    Still cringe to this day.

  426. "Start not normal"

    Jose Mourinho

Not even the humble microphone has been safe from a Jose Mourinho rant this season.

Chelsea have hardly set the world alight in the start to their title defence having picked up four points and had two players - goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and defender John Terry - sent off in their first three games.

"I think the most important thing of this start to the season is that it's not normal that in three matches you have two penalties against your team and play with 10 men twice," he said.

"This is the Premier League so, when you are five points behind the leader in another league that can be a complication. In the Premier League, it is not complicated."

  427. Post update

    Jose Mourinho

"It's maybe a bit unfortunate for Manchester United to leave Stamford Bridge without a point."

That's what Jose Mourinho said after overseeing his very first win as Chelsea boss at Stamford Bridge back on 15 August 2004, Eidur Gudjohnsen's goal seeing off Manchester United. Pleasant and humble.

Contrast that to what we've seen so far this season - angry condemnation of the actions of his medical staff and dismissing Manchester City's 3-0 win over Chelsea as a "fake result", it is fair to say that Mourinho has been a tad cranky.

You'd think a win against West Brom last time out would lighten his mood. Well, think again...

  428. Mourinho's milestone

It began with a 1-0 win over Manchester United in 2004...

    Jose Mourinho

... and has suffered a solitary blip with a 2-1 loss to Sunderland in 2014...

    Jose Mourinho

...Jose Mourinho's home record as Chelsea boss is, quite frankly, brilliant.

After 76 wins, 22 draws and just one defeat, he takes charge of his 100th home game at Stamford Bridge, but, after a somewhat shaky and controversial start to the season, Mourinho is perhaps hardly in the mood to celebrate the landmark just yet...
