The 4th annual ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Contest kicked off today, and like every year, ScreenCraft is setting potential winners up with some great prizes, as well as valuable industry connections.

Like all of ScreenCraft's contests, they've got a stellar lineup of judges that represent/work for production companies that have made films like Saw, Paranormal Activity, and Insidious. Judges include Ryan Turek (VP of Development at Blumhouse Productions), Kailey Marsh (Manager / Producer, creator of The Blood List), Jeannette Francis (Development at Atomic Monster), Miles Fineburg (Development Executive at Terror Films).

Prizes for First Place include $1500, a phone call with horror screenwriter C. Robert Cargill (Sinister, Sinister 2, The Outer Limits, Deus Ex) and phone calls with a top literary manager/agent, as well as a top horror film executive.

The competition is open to anyone that is 18 years or older. Screenplays can be no longer than 140 pages. The early deadline is April 15th, and the final deadline is July 1st. Be sure to check out rules and eligibility before submitting.
