BROOKLYN, NY – August 29, 2015 –  Bazaar Royale will hold the annual BROOKLYN BAZAAR BLOCK PARTY on Lexington Avenue between Grand and Classon in the heart of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NY from 10a.m. to 8p.m. Fresh, fun, and family-friendly, the BROOKLYN BAZAAR is an innovative and progressive block-party-meets-street-festival showcasing an eclectic range of talent including local indie artists and commercial acts.

The line-up of performing artists and special guests includes: Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, DJs Preserv & the Dustbin Brothers, DJ Incognegro, DJ Spirithood, Sugar Bands, Hard Hitting Harry, DJ Evil Dee, DJ Beverly Bond, Marcello Ritondo, DJ Stormin Norman, MC Luqman Brown of Funkface, Asase Yaa Dance Theater, Smallwood Performing Arts Ensemble, United African Dance Troupe, Jarobi White of Tribe Called Quest, Dres of Blacksheep, Freaky Baby Daddy, Cousins, Greg Banks, and Bazaar Royale with Empire actor Malik Yoba, and emerging comedian Clipperman as the afternoon’s hosts and masters of ceremony.

This annual event celebrates all things Brooklyn and brings together some of the borough’s bests visual artists, musicians, restaurateurs, and community organizers. “I started the BROOKLYN BAZAAR to celebrate street culture, to invite families to close out the summer together, and to also showcase the beautiful tapestry of art, food and culture that Brooklyn has to offer. I am grateful for the community support from local businesses and artists who all make this event special and successful every year. A special thanks goes out to Brooklyn community organizer Jack Brown who has been a tremendous supporter this year!” said creator Bazaar Royale.

In addition to featuring live music, the free festival also includes a morning mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga facilitated by Stacked Yoga (at 10AM), live mural painting, a skate park curated by Tre Truck, skateboard lessons provided by Courtney Payne-Taylor of Girl-Riders Organization, double dutch lessons by Rev. Malika Whitney and Double Dutch Dreamz, sound system provided by DJ Vern of Party Crasher Events, and food samples provided by: Madiba, Speedy Romeo, Choice Market, Marietta, and Taylormade.
