Birthday Party takes place on Saturday
We begin our Newsletter this month with a huge thank you to everyone who has helped UKCountryRadio.com grow from strength to strength over the last eight years. Today (1st September) is our 8th Birthday, although I have to say it's scary to think it is a whole eight years since we launched the station at 10am on Saturday 1st September 2007.

On Saturday, we will celebrate with our 8th Birthday Party And Awards at the Radisson Blu Hotel at East Midlands Airport. We are delighted that so many of you are coming along to share our special night with us. If you're not able to make it, then don't worry, you'll be able to hear the whole thing live on UKCountryRadio.com.

Our live coverage starts at 5pm when Graham L.Hall and Nutty Norah chat to the performing artists and Awards finalists - then Will "Big Dawg" Downie will guide you through the live event which starts at 7pm.

Our Birthday Party And Awards features performances from nine guest artists, a three-course celebratory dinner, the announcement of the winners of the inaugural UKCountryRadio.com Awards, and, of course, our own Nutty Norah's Late Night Country Music Disco! It should be a great night.
