Newsletter Highlights

Our first Indoor Holiday Market of the season is this Monday!  I am excited to see everyone at the Cove Community Center. Handmade things and locally grown and produced foods are unique and thoughtful additions to your meals and as gifts. There are really so many reasons to make the farmers' market a part of your special holiday meals and gift giving.  My favorite aspect of our holiday markets is spending time inside with all of you.  The positive spirit of the market is tangible when it is contained!

I also really anticipate the taste and sense of pride I get from offering beautiful, special farmers' market meals to guests and family.  I feel similarly about finding beautiful gifts for people at the market.

See you at the market!

RECIPE:  I love to make my own cranberry sauce for my family's Thanksgiving meal.  It took a while but everyone has come to enjoy and expect my home made cranberry sauce, it takes time to cultivate tradition!  The sauce I make is more of a chutney.  I use a recipe that I started using when I was learning about the benefits of raw foods, while working at the Organic Garden Cafe many moons ago.

So I thought I would share a raw cranberry sauce recipe and a more traditional cooked cranberry sauce recipe.
