Rochester Cyclocross - the Off-Road Criterium is THIS WEEKEND!
Rochester Cyclocross - is an international, professional cyclocross race we're producing in Genesee Valley Park on September 10th and 11th. This is an off-road version of the crit with all sorts of technical features thrown in! Bring the whole family down to Genesee Valley Park and watch from just inches away as pros from all over the world compete on a world-class course! With play by play provided by pro announcers, don't worry if you don't know the lingo just yet - you'll catch 'cross fever soon enough!
Like the crit, this event is FREE for spectators, parking is right next to the course at Strong Hospital and we have food trucks, coffee and the famous Rohrbachs beer garden! Spend the day at Rochester Cyclocross!
Want to try out this super fun sport called cyclocross? Well you can do that too! Registration for all events is still open - but it closes at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7th (that's tonight)!
- Learn 'cross skills from one of the best, multiple-time National Champion Jonathan Page at the RCX Tech Clinic on Friday, September 9th!
- Stick around on Friday to check out the course and get a taste for 'cross racing at the RCX Night Fondo. You'll need a bright headlight to race, but this mellow event will show you how much fun cross is!
- Race all weekend long on the full course - no matter your ability level - with 2 full days of racing! With races for kids and beginners on up to seasoned racers and pros, Rochester Cyclocross is the New York State's only Class 1 event - you don't want to miss it!
