A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in the Omaha metro area.The crash was reported around 1:18 p.m. near 45th and Leavenworth streets. Early reports indicate that a southbound Hyundai was taking a right turn to go west on Leavenworth Street, didn't see the bicyclist entering the intersection from the sidewalk and struck the person.The bicyclist, a 70-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital.Check back for updates on this developing story.
