House Hunters is voyeurism at its most mundane (think about it — you're watching people nitpick wall-to-wall carpeting for a half hour), but it gets us every time. Of course, we want watch people make the biggest purchase of their lives! It's a formula that just works.

But like all things formulaic, cliches that emerge can eventually make you want to roll your eyes — or laugh out loud. Wives rib their husbands about stealing all the closet space. Couples demand an open floor plan, but rarely get one. And everybody wants a man cave (we're just waiting for she sheds to start popping up on the show).

The folks at Buzzfeed saw the silliness in all of this and made the perfect "honest" House Hunters spoof. Watch it above, but truthfully, we'd take the regular show any day. Finding the humor inbetween the lines is just part of the fun.
