DARBAR-E-KHALSA!!

COUNT DOWN HAS BEGUN!!!

Come December 25th, the Sikh Community of California and neighboring states will come together at DARBAR-E-KHALSA to celebrate the 349th birthday of their beloved Tenth Great Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji with deep love and devotion.

Location and Timings

The function will be held at Fairplex Pomona (LA fairgrounds), 1101 W. McKinnley Ave., Pomona CA 91768 (Gate 17, Building #6) from 7 am to 3 pm.  Thousands of  devotees are expected to attend, making this the largest and the most sought-after religious congregation of the Sikhs in Southern California.

Thirty years of Celebration


DARBAR-E-KHALSA is celebrated with such an unparalleled mix of reverence, pomp, grandeur, punctuality, devotion and feasting that the number of attendees has grown from about 700 in 1986 to over 10,000 in the last 29 years. The function is organized annually by International Institute of Gurmat Studies, Inc. (IIGS) with t he support and cooperation of all the Sikh Gurdwaras and organizations of Southern California.

ABOUT IIGS

Founded in 1955 in India by Late Captain Kanwar Harbhajan Singh Ji, and incorporated in California since 1985, International Institute of Gurmat Studies (IIGS) is one of the leading US- based Sikh  non-profit (501(c)(3) organizations that has been working with the Sikh youth for the past 60 years.
