ยู่ยี่ถูกจำคุกภายในเรือนจำลาดยาวตั้งแต่วันที่ 12 มิถุนายน 2557 เธอถูกกล่าวหาและตัดสินให้จำคุก 15 ปีในข้อหาลักลอบขนโคเคนในปริมาณ 0.005 กรัมหรือ 5 มิลลิกรัม เธอไม่สามารถกอดลูกๆของเธออีกเลยตั้งแต่วันที่ศาลมีคำสั่งให้จำคุกเธอ เธอถูกตัดสินให้ต้องอยู่ในห้องขังภายใต้ข้อหาลักลอบขนโคเคนที่มีมูลค่าเพียง 12 บาทหรือเทียบเท่า 25 เซนต์ของ 1 ดอลล่าห์สหรัฐเท่านั้น พวกเราได้ร้องขอการประกันตัวเธอรวมทั้งสิ้น 5 ครั้งในฐานะแม่ของเด็ก 3 คน โดยเฉพาะลูก 1 ใน 3 คนของเธอนี้ ไม่แข็งแรงเนื่องจากมีโรคประจำตัวเกี่ยวกับหัวใจ และการยื่นขอประกันตัวทั้ง 5 ครั้งก็ได้ถูกปฏิเสธตลอดมา

คดีนี้มีความไม่ชอบมาพากลหลายอย่าง ทำไมคนที่ไม่มีโคเคนในร่างกายจากการตรวจของแพทย์ ไม่ว่าจะทั้งในเลือดหรือปัจสาวะ ถึงต้องมีโคเคน 0.005 กรัมในครอบครอง ทำไมเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจถึงได้มุ่งเป้ามาที่เธอโดยตรง ทั้งที่เธอเพิ่งลงจากเครื่องบิน ทำไมเธอถึงโดนบังคับให้เซ็นต์เอกสารโดยไม่มีทนายของเธอ ทำไมปริมาณของโคเคนถึงเปลี่ยนแปลงถึง 3 ครั้ง และ 2 ครั้งเจ้าหน้าได้แจ้งว่าโดเคนได้ถูกทำลายไปแล้ว

ทางครอบครัวเคารพกฏหมายไทยแต่ไม่ยอมรับความไม่ยุติธรรม ด้วยเหตุผลทั้งหมดที่กล่าวมา พวกเราขอร้องให้รัฐบาลชุดใหม่นี้นำคดีของยู่ยี่ออกมาพิจารณาใหม่อีกครั้งเพื่อความยุติธรรม

Yuyee has been in Ladyao jail since June 12th 2014. She was accused and sentenced to 15 years in jail for trafficking with 0,005 grams of cocaine (5 milligrams). She has not been able to hug her children since that day. She is sentenced to 15 years in jail for trafficking with an amount of drug which valued is 12 baht or 25 cents of a dollar. We have requested for bail 5 times on behalf of the well being of her 3 children, specially one with serious heart problems and all of the bail petitions have been denied.

The whole case has a lot of contradictions. Why a person who has no cocaine in her system (urine or blood) is going to carry 0,005 grams of cocaine? Why the police went straight for her, just coming down from a plane? Why she was pushed to sign a paper without a lawyer? Why the amount of cocaine changed 3 times and twice was said destroyed? We accept the law but we do not accept injustice. Because of this, we are requesting to the new Thai government to review this case as soon as possible.

Yuyee lleva desde el 12 de Junio en la prisión de Ladyao. Fue acusada y sentenciada a 15 años en prisión por traficar con 0,005 gramos de cocaína (5 miligramos). Desde hace casi un año no se le ha permitido tener contacto físico con sus hijos. Está acusada y sentenciada por traficar con una cantidad que se evalúa como 35 céntimos de euro. Hemos pedido libertad condicional 5 veces y las 5 ha sido denegada incluso con los reportes medicos de uno de sus hijos que mantiene una enfermedad de corazón grave.

Todo este caso está lleno de contradicciones. ¿Por qué una persona que no tiene cocaína en la sangre ni en la orina llevaría 5 miligramos consigo? ¿Por qué la policía fue directamente a por ella cuando se bajaba de un avión?  ¿Por qué se la obligo a firmar una declaracion sin un abogado presente? ¿Por qué la cantidad fue cambiada 3 veces y se dice se destruyo dos veces? Aceptamos las leyes, pero no las injusticias. Por este hecho, pedimos al nuevo gobierno de Tailandia que revise este caso lo antes possible.
