Home security camera shows Urbandale burglars

Police are asking for the public's help with identifying two men who burglarized an Urbandale home on Saturday.

At about 8 p.m., Urbandale police were called to the home in the 14100 block of Briarwood Lane. Two men broke into the home and stole undisclosed items, said Sgt. Chad Underwood, spokesman for Urbandale police.

Burglary suspects captured on an Urbandale home's security camera. Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call police.

"It's kind of shocking" for a burglary to happen at that time of night, Underwood said. "It's not that late."

Urbandale police posted a video to its Facebook page showing the suspects. The video was obtained from the home's security system, Underwood said.
