#Tampa2Flint Water Drive

We are a group of young black men ready to do our part in our communities. Instead of just talking about it, we are putting our plan in action. Some of us involved with this event are students, truck drivers, I.T. supervisors, Air Force Sergeants, aspiring directors, etc. We are looking to raise money for our travel expenses from Tampa, Florida to Flint, Michigan ONLY. One of our brothers is from Flint, Michigan so it definetly resonates with all of us. It is our responsibility to provide help for OUR people in need. We have quoted the largest UHaul truck (26 Feet) at $1096, and we anticipate an additional $400 To cover Gas for the truck and our personal vehicles. We will be departing on the 10th of Feb. at approximately 7 AM, and we plan to ditribute at Northwestern High School on the 11th until the truck is empty. We need to reach this goal by Feb. 9th, 2016 to ensure we are prepared. The people in Flint need us and we will be there for them whether we reach our goal or not. We have various organizations donating water, and contributing to our efforts. Again, I would like to reiterate, the money raised is ONLY FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES. We will post the reciepts of the rental truck to ensure you that your money is not being wasted.
