We have received information about a workshop by the SWFWMD to present their proposals for setting MFLs for the Crystal River/Kings Bay system. This is an opportunity to tell the district that we do not want to continue to destroy our waters.

1) The final draft of the Peer Review Report has been completed and is available electronically. The peer review panel is supporting up to a 12% additional reduction in flow to this system.
2) A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at 5 p.m. at the Crystal River Middle School auditorium. Agenda is attached.
3) The presentation to the District’s Governing Board will be at their board meeting on May 23. The agenda for this meeting is not yet available.
