If the fee has been keeping you from experiencing some of Pennsylvania's museums and historical sites, Museum Day Live! has an offer you can't refuse.
The annual event, sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine, provides free admission this Saturday, Sept. 24, to participating museums across the country, including 50 in Pennsylvania.
Participating Pennsylvania museums and exhibits include: Philadelphia History Museum; James A. Michener Art Museum; National Watch & Clock Museum; America On Wheels Museum and more.

Here's how organizers describe the day: "Smithsonian Museum Day Live! is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket."
