Hi everyone! My name is Elon Hufana, I am a student at Berkeley City College and have the opportunity to travel to New York City from March 21st-25th!
About me
I'm a first year college student, studying full-time at Berkeley City College (recently maxing out 20 units). I love learning, especially when it comes to tech, design, and business!
Throughout high school I've been active with student organizations, especially NFTE (Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship)!
Every year NFTE holds an annual showcase in New York City. Inviting the worlds top CEO's and entrepreneurs to attend this event.
And this year I have the opportunity to attend the showcase and travel from March 21st-25th!
As I spend most of my money toward daily expenses and my college education, I don't have any money for traveling or anything else.
This trip is an investment for my future. With both benefits of meeting these world leaders, and growing my professional knowledge for my future endeavors.

My Story
From the 10th — 12th grade of High School, I was apart of my schools Academy for Business and Finance.
My first year with the program, I started my own clothing business! I called it Rising Lifestyle
Overtime my passion for business kept growing. And overtime, I continued to attend local conferences and business competitions until I graduated!
Once my senior year came along, NFTE Bay Area even awarded me as their Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year! It was an amazing and heartfelt moment for me.
Upon graduation, I chose to stay local and attend community college.
Although it would've been nice to attend a university; I stayed local to save money and grow my business experiences on a higher level before transferring out the Bay Area.
