This easel photo frame is an actual photo frame, with strut leg that pitches out, and it converts to a costume jewelry brooch pin, and also can convert to a hanging tree ornament for Christmas or any of the holidays!

The picture frame is back! The frame pin ornament card is for the 2x3” instant print photos by Instax Mini, Polaroid, HP Sprocket, Prynt, or any smartphone printer device. The frame pin ornament card is 3x4" overall, and the picture window for display is 1 1/2" x 2 1/2". So, you can add your own message on the insert, or photo.

These frame pin ornament cards are great for dinner table place card frames, party favors, weddings, showers, events, display signs, gift tags, an alternative to a greeting card, use it for a birth announcement, or an invitation ...the creative uses are endless!

And, you can print the pattern sheet onto paper card stock, printable vinyl by Cricut which is sticky back, AND washable, colorfast, inkjet printer fabric! And the fabric version is washable! Just make sure that your inkjet fabric says that its washable on the package. Plus, the instructions work for all these substrates! You can even spray clear coat finish or laminate the card stock panels, or iron clear vinyl from Therm o Web onto the front facing panels!

This easel photo frame card is multipurpose, with interchangeable parts. The strut leg, the easel, is removable, attached by Velcro / hook & loop at the top and also on the ribbon tail that is folded twice, with a Velcro tab on it, that sticks to the easel back panel. You can remove that, and insert a metal brooch, bar style pin back, 1 1/4" or 35mm long, sold on Craftsuprint, slide the pin back through the 2 holes on the easel back panel, which help hold the mechanisms in place. Or, you can thread a ribbon through the top hole on the easel back panel, to hang it as an ornament!

To make the photo and its clear sleeve, a clear, acid free sheet protector page cut to the size of the photo, found in stationery and big box stores (make sure that the package is labelled "acid free"), stay in place and not slide about, the key is the photo pocket, which is made by threading 1/8" or 3mm wide ribbon, 2 feet or 50cm or 2/3 meter long, through the 7 holes that you hole punch on panels 2 and 3, that make a u shaped line of holes, thread in both directions, and knot on both sides, then hot glue the knots and trimmed ribbon tails.

The frame pin ornament has 6 panel parts that fit and are printed on one sheet A4 size. Those parts are:

panel 1: frame front with design printed

panel 2 : 2nd or inside frame front that connects to the panel 3, which makes the photo pocket

panel 3: inner facing easel back panel

panel 4: easel back panel with design printed

panel 5: inside facing back strut leg panel, bendable

panel 6: front facing strut leg panel with design printed, bendable

3/8" or 9mm wide by 9" or 23cm long ribbon is placed between the 2 strut leg panels at the bottom right, and its tail is folded in twice, with the harsh or hook part of Velcro / hook & loop glued or stuck to it. You can use sticky back Velcro or the sew on kind of hook & loop.

Oh, and the front coordinates with the easel back and strut leg! Normally, the back is ignored, but I decided that the back should get some love, too, on frames.

Assembly of parts is easy. Just use hot glue, double sided scrapbook tape, or an acid free glue stick to assemble them.

The frame design, the artwork / graphic is sheet music, that I wrote when I was 18 for arranging and composing class in high school. I composed the song when I was 15, but didn't know how to write music at that time. The song is called "Keep Of The Promise", ans its a ballad. As an artist, I see lots of people use famous composer's sheet music in their art. Well, I don't do that, I figured that I should use my own composed sheet music, that I wrote myself, and use it in my designs. The title is handwritten along with my name at the top center and right side.

You can add any thing to the insert, whether it be a photo, a message, invite, artwork, you name it, just make sure that the main area to show through the frame is 1 1/2" x 2 1/2", with a 1/4" space around the edge of the 2x3" insert that you use.
