Pregnant 17-year-old killed over 'dowry'
A teenaged homemaker, five monts pregnant, was allegedly suffocated to death by her in-laws over dowry demands.
Angry locals ransacked a shop owned by Sonia's husband and beat him up before handing him over to the police.
KOLKATA: A teenaged homemaker, five months pregnant, was allegedly suffocated to death by her in-laws over dowry demands.
The incident happened at Baranagar on Monday. Three persons, including her husband, were nabbed for the murder of Sonia Paul(17).
Angry locals ransacked a shop owned by Sonia's husband and beat him up before handing him over to the police.Cops are looking for her brother-in-law, Tamal Paul. Locals said Sonia got married to Somenath Paul barely seven months back.
