Oh When The Saints…

Manager Bryan Donohue added a pair of his own Saints to the 2017 roster as pitcher Hunter Bruno and outfielder Thomas Lampkin join the Falcons.

The righty Bruno has pitched well this season for the Mt Hood Community College Saints, but hasn’t had much help offensively.  He’s made eight appearances, has 24 punch outs in 27 innings pitched and has a 3.00 ERA.  The freshman has primarily worked out of the pen, but has made a pair of starts.

Lampkin now in his second season with Mt Hood and is hitting .362 with 12 RBIs and 13 runs scored through 13 games in the NWAC so far this year.  For a big 6’3, 190 pound outfielder, the sophomore has collected four steals and has been hit four times.

Both players are anticipated to be at Elks Stadium on June 2nd when the Falcons open the 2017 summer season against the Port Angeles Lefties.
