Community Hub & New School on site of Sir John A MacDonald
This is an extract from a letter shared from the HWDSB - In October, we completed community consultations. We are in the process of compiling a report that outlines the themes, programs and services identified by the community to present to the Board of Trustees.

We also met with potential service and capital partners with the intention to move into signed memorandums of understanding. A report will be shared with the Board of Trustees for their approval to confirm the partners on December 4, 2017.

The community hub is contingent on Ministry of Education funding for a new elementary school. We anticipate that we will be notified about an announcement in the new year. At the present time, we are finalizing our service and capital partners. Over the next phase, we may connect with additional program and service providers if we identify service gaps.
