What an opportunity we have to show our children what it means to give back to our community! This May Zhen Art will host the children’s art show with 50% of the proceeds going to “Bigs in Blue” through The Crystal Charity Ball and the other 50% will be distributed equally to all the students that have a painting in the show. The Crystal Charity Ball supports non profit agencies primarily concerned with the care, development and welfare of children. The Crystal Charity Ball has selected Bigs in Blue as a beneficiary. All proceeds donated to Crystal Charity from the Zhen Art show will go directly to Bigs in Blue.
Bigs in Blue is a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Bigs in Blue is a one-to-one mentoring program that connects our youth with police officers in our community, building strong, trusting, lasting relationships. The result of these relationships can help build stronger bonds between law enforcement and the families they serve. Now more than ever, this program is critical to the success of our community. Please become a part of connecting our youth and police through one-to-one mentoring. This is an opportunity to break down barriers and show firsthand how police officers are an asset in the communities they serve.
This Art Show will be an opportunity for all Zhen Art students to donate a piece of their art work to be displayed at the April art show. All students will be encouraged to sell raffle tickets. Zhen will donate a $200 Visa gift card to the student who sells the most raffle tickets! The raffle tickets will be $15 each, the more raffle tickets sold, the more money Zhen Art students will donate to Bigs in Blue and none of the children’s art work will go unsold! Each piece of art work will be a raffle prize winner.
Zhen Art welcomes donations to enhance the over all raffle prizes. Autographed sports paraphernalia, tickets to sporting events, art work, jewelry or any donated item of value will be welcomed, Please consider donating!!! You may drop off donated items at Zhen Art or we are happy to make arrangements for pick up.
