Not Hacked: Former IPCC Head Pachauri Lied, Forensic Police Report Reveals
Not hacked. Electronic devices used by RK Pachauri, the ex-chief of TERI [and former head of the IPCC] being investigated for sexual harassment, were not hacked, the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Gandhinagar, has said in a confidential report submitted to Delhi Police.
A top Delhi Police investigator familiar with the case told ET the police wanted to rule out even a “speck of doubt” that Pachauri’s electronic devices were hacked or compromised in any manner. ET had first reported that a sexual harassment complaint had been filed against Pachauri.
…
Delhi Police had asked FSL “if any spyware/malware or keylogger” (a type of surveillance software) was found in Pachauri’s electronic devices. It had also asked “whether devices have been hacked or not?”
FSL concludes that Pachauri’s electronic devices were not hacked or interfered with in any manner. FSL’s report also says the devices were not infected with any software that could have compromised their security. A top Delhi Police investigator familiar with the case told ET the police wanted to rule out even a “speck of doubt” that Pachauri’s electronic devices were hacked or compromised in any manner, and that’s why FSL was asked to examine so many possibilities. He also said the police wanted to leave nothing that could invite “wishful misinterpretation”. […]
Delhi Police had filed an FIR against Pachauri in February 2015, after preliminary enquiry into a complaint of sexual harassment by a 29-year-old woman employee them employed by TERI.
Pachauri, responding to ET’s questions, had said:
“From your email, I have come to know the factum that my computer resources including my email ids, mobile phones and WhatsApp messages have been hacked and that unknown cyber criminals have gone ahead and have unauthorisedly accessed my computer resources and communication devices and further committed various criminal activities.”

Karma right? India is the home of Karma.
I always thought karma was Japanese. I get to learn something new every day.
I thought it was an italian operetta.
I thought the Karma Ghia was made in Germany.
As the UK pantomime season is nearly upon us…..He knows he lies, we know he lies, he knows that we know, we know that he knows that we know, he knows that we know that he knows that we know!!!!!
And still doesn’t care.
Why should he? He got his Nobel prize and international travel.
Hey Dick Wiener ought to try that lie don’t you think? “The Russians hacked my computer and put all those dick pictures sent to underage girls into it and then they stuffed all those State Department emails addressed to and from my wife just to brings us down” The most looney of the conspiracy theorists are progresses
Anthony?
Dick suits him well.
Prgressives!
Liars lie right. Patchy fit the John Beale useful idiot profile perfectly.
Progressives..what happened to spell check
“progresses” is correctly spelt, that’s what. Nothing wrong with the spelling checker.
I am shocked – shocked, I tell you.
I know, right? I was absolutely convinced Patchy had been hacked.
Hey, maybe Hillary could use that as an alibi as well…oh,wait….
(according to leaked FBI statement, 99 percent chance that 5….count em 5… bad actor countries
have hacked her server-in-a-toilet arrangement.)
Trump will win but will forgive AGW fanatics much better. They should be forgiven… After all we all make mistakes LOL.
Forgiving them will probably be Obama’s last function while still in office
Pardon
Pardon
Pardon
Pardon
Pardon…
Is there a Nobel for best lies?
Obama already won it.
That was one of the first clues of how corrupt the self styled “elites” have become.
the Nobel Prize for Peace
the Nobel Prize for Piece (of the Pie)
FIFY
Is there a Nobel for best lies? Yes, it’s called the Nobel Peace prize !
As others have commented, Patchauri should copy the Hillary Clinton/DNC defence that the evil Russians hacked the site, and not examine what was revealed due to the hack. Unfortunately, he just wasn’t important enough to be hacked.
Every time I see a photo of this guy I think he looks like a Klingon extra in an old star trek episode.
Apologies to the trekkies out there.
How about an apology to the Klingons?
How about apologies to the Klingons?
Great Minds……
“Perhaps today IS a good day to die!!!!”

I think one of the Geico cavemen did the deed… Could have walked right into his office and no one would have noticed
He’s lied about everything else so why the surprise? Suggest 20 years shoveling coal into a steam locomotive. At least that’s something he knows about!
We can now add perjury and obstruction to Patchauri’s wrap sheet.
I think a wrap sheet is a camping accessory, maybe you were thinking of a rap sheet.
Didn’t Andrew Weaver also claim he was hacked?
No, I think he may have confessed to being a hack.

Naw, “ICBM” Weaver used that story to get a little publicity and sympathy, by conjuring up his “victim” story. which was debunked on WNWT or maybe even Steve McIntyre’s blog. Now he’s a provincial pol and rarely gets any limelight. “The BC Green Party is a right of center party.” Yeah, sure.
Patchuri looks like he dressed up in a Star Fleet uniform as a Klingon. Interesting choice of hair style and dress.
Speaking of Pachauri pics, my all-time fave is that which came to light (along with his declaration that “Gandhi … was a great environmental thinker and philosopher … very ahead of his time.”) as part of a promotion for his appearance in Hyderabad, where he was to address “an audience of 1,300 students from various countries at the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN)” over three years ago.
As I had noted in my post, believe it or not … for one brief moment in time, the now disgraced Pachauri held the credo (in red letters, no less!) that “Everyone has the right to question science“
At that time, he was still resting on his unearned Nobel laurels; although I did subsequently receive an E-mail from an underling who dutifully placed the blame for this “error” on the organizers’ “social media manager”!
Amazing, eh?!
MODS: Not sure what I might have done wrong, but my #comment-2333388 seems to have disappeared into the ether. View from here, so to speak, is that it’s not even held in moderation.
Please advise if I should repost. Thanks.
Most words which describe Patchy are likely to get caught in a moderation filter.
Thanks, but while I might have been thinking such words, I didn’t use any of ’em in my comment. It’s possible that it was the jpg I’d included is what did the deed. Soooo … here’s the text of my comment – and you’ll just have to follow the link to my post to see the pic, assuming this repost gets past the filters!

While I may have privately thought such words, I didn’t use ’em! And I even tried reposting without the critical image showing Patchy declaring that “Everyone has the right to question science”. But that vanished, as well – although my attempt to subscribe to this thread did succeed.
In the hope that this comment is not subjected the vagaries of WP’s anti-femitic idiosyncracies, here’s the URL to my post with the image:

Main photo with Big Al and Patchy showing off paintings done by their 3 year old grand children as entries in the under 5’s section of the UN “Paintings to Save the World” competition.
UNFCCCP could not decide which was the winner so they had to share the prize.
History will show that Obama was the worst President the USA ever had. Even worse than if Big Al had made the White House. All this will be trumped by Mrs Clinton if she gets elected. Will she get to keep the White House furniture/objects she stole [made to return] the last time?
