POTTSTOWN -Police officers from Pottstown, North Coventry, Lower and West Pottsgrove along with Limerick dispersed a group of between 80 and 100 youths late Saturday night after a large fight broke out during a “Sweet 16” party being held at the Quality Inn on West King Street.
A police officer said when the initial police units arrived, a group fled the scene and police were still looking for them, described as a rival group.
At least one person was injured and lost a tooth during the assault.
Police said charges are pending as they continue their investigation. Party goers had to leave the area as police officers and a K-9 unit controlled the scene.
