This weekend I will be preaching the fourth message in our series "Encounters: Engaging People the Jesus Way". I've heard so many wonderful things form people about this series! Thank you!

In this message we will meet a desperate hopeless person who had an encounter with Christ. Do you know someone like this person? You feel sorry for them. You empathize with them. But have you introduced them to Christ?

CPR Training

9/30 - We will have a CPR Training class for all those who work with children at Clearview. It will begin at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall, taught by Greg Hughes. If you work with children in any capacity at Clearview, this training is MANDATORY.

We will be collecting used children's books for the students of E.M. Rollins to give as rewards for good behavior, grades, etc. Please bring gently used donations to the Welcome Room.

Our next Art of Marriage is coming up on October 14-15. This is such a great opportunity to learn more about God's design for marriage to grow closer as a couple. Sign up in the Welcome Room if you plan to attend.

10/11 - Meet the JOY Ministry at 2:00 PM at the Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehab Center. Take some time out of your day to encourage the residents and the staff and to make Christ visible there.

10/11 - Illuminate, meet at Clearview at 5:00 PM with some spending money for dinner at Taco Bell! Then, you get to watch guys break stuff as The Strength Team performs at McGregor Hall. The show is free, so you'll just need money for Taco Bell. Please let Ryan know as soon as possible if you plan to attend.

Fall focus for Illuminate and Converge, Sundays at 5:00 PM. All students 6th-12th grade and young adults are welcome for a time of worship, Bible study, small groups, and more! Join as they discover what true worship is and how it should impact our lives.
