     Jaya, a native of Chicago, was born with a sincere love for music. She began passionately singing at an early age and was later introduced to vocal coach, Lyndia Johnson, of Sterling Voice Coaching. Jaya began vocal training, writing and recording songs with various producers but found her musical home with producer Harvey Allbangers, also of Chicago, IL. She learned many thing’s during their partnership. She quotes “working with Harvey Allbangers, taught me the importance of chemistry when working with people and that countless hours of hard work in the studio would lead to much growth and success.” It did just that. Jaya became blessed with many opportunities such as singing intro’s to the Doug Banks and Dee Dee McGuire afternoon show, “Doug and Dee Dee on the Ride” various projects and performances. Jaya, with her band Random Noise, has recorded and performed with various artist around the city as well as major artist such as Chrisette Michell, Dwele, and Anthony Hamilton to name a few. Jaya also was a feature at the Chicago House of Blues main stage.  Jaya’s words to live by are as followed. “If music is the life you live, live it and live it out loud!” Jaya has the voice of an angel.
