The Elder's would like to honor Jen for her strong leadership and growth of the KidsLife program by giving her a gift card. LIFT SPECIAL EDITION THIS SUNDAY
- This Sunday September 10th we will meet in front of the BRIG BUILDING in Magnuson Park at 5pm. This is the building where our Community Dinner will be meeting.
From there we will have a short time of leadership direction for a guided prayer walk.
Upon your arrival everyone will be given a map with specific locations throughout the Magnuson park areas noted on it. At each of those spots there will be specific prayer prompts to lead you in your prayer time. This is something for all ages and we hope everyone can join us. You can take as much time as you'd like to participate.
This will give you a great tour of the community we will be loving and serving.
NOTE
- There will be NO meal or childcare provided at this event because we want everyone to join us in praying for our community and for the launch of our community dinner church. Feel free to bring your own picnic dinner, or plan to connect with others over a meal after you have finished your prayer walk.
KIDSLIFE CO-LEAD DIRECTORS ANNOUNCEMENT

We are so excited to let you all know that we have officially hired Erin Phillips and Christel Peterson as our NEW KidsLife Co-Lead Directors starting September 1st! Christel & Erin bring an incredible wealth of experience, professional training working with kids and families, have served in our KidsLife ministry for many years, and have a huge passion for the ministry and the vision of the church. Please keep them both in your prayers as they step into this new role - that God would continue to lead them and bless them as they take the lead over one of our strongest ministries here at OneLife! We are so thankful for this answer to prayer!
KIDSLIFE FALL HELP
- With Erin and Christel taking on their new role we want to help them get off to a great start. With that
Our KidsLife ministry is currently looking for volunteers for the fall. We could use teachers, assistants, and substitutes to help make our Sunday morning KidsLife programs amazing. The time commitment is easy and the impact is HUGE. If you are interested please note that on your connection card or send an email HERE letting us know. We also will have a KidsLife Volunteer Sign Up table set up this Sunday to stop by as well. Thanks in advance for your prayerful consideration of serving in this ministry!
ONELIFE TUTORING -
We have more enrolled students than tutors!
Can you listen to a student read? Help them learn math facts? Be a mentor? Have fun with a student! Thursday nights we start at 6pm for Dinner &6:30 tutoring homework help. Every Thursday or every other week is needed. Orientation & training available by appointment. Drivers & Assistants are also needed at 5pm &/or 8pm; Assistants go in the van & walk students to & from the van. Assistants can be students in 7th grade & up. WE STILL NEED -
1.5 tutors to cover the students already enrolled AND
two van drivers at
8pm
and a van assistant.
THE MIX BACK TO SCHOOL BASH - Summer is almost over and school is just around the corner, so we have our back to school kick off on Wednesday, September 6th at OneLife Community Church from 7-9pm. But we believe in having lots of fun! So on Friday September 15th at OneLife Community Church from 7 to 9pm we will also be having a BBQ with water balloon games! Bring friends to both and come ready to get soaked! For more information contact our Youth Director Ben Hurst.
NEW SERMON SERIES
- This Sunday we will be in week 2 of our brand new fall 2017 sermon series in the book of 2 Corinthians! This book is PACKED with goodness that you don't want to miss. Start reading it now, invite a friend, and join us this Sunday at 10am.
COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS
-
Once a month after our Sunday service we make space to connect new people with one or more of our Staff & Elder Board. This happens on the 4th Sunday of every month. Our next one will be on Sunday September 24th at Sunshine Coffee.
