I think Zoey is looking forward to more Grandma time.

Hello Quilter!
Thanks for opening the newsletter.

I made a decision more than a year ago that I haven't shared until now. I was waiting for all the pieces to be put in place.

Now it's time. After more than 30 years as a professional quilter, I have decided to retire. I'm going to go back to being an amateur! I've had a wonderful run, met incredible people, and traveled to places I never would have gotten a chance to visit otherwise. What a blessing!

I am looking forward to more family time, leisure travel, and sewing all those UFO's I've stashed away.

Ami-Scooter

Scooter's Corner

I am super excited that Mom is retiring. I am looking forward to dragging her on long walks and catching more of the balls she throws. (Her aim is terrible, but then my eye/snout coordination isn't great either.) I will also try to leave more presents in the yard because she loves to find them. And I will sew with her all the time because I am so helpful when I rest my head on the go pedal. Go Mom, Go! I have a FaceBook page too. I will try to visit there more often so you can give me virtual kisses and scratches behind my ears. I think I miss you already.

Thank You!

And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Many of you have attended a lecture, taken a workshop, or we have met online. Thanks to you I have had a most satisfying career where I have been inspired, encouraged, and appreciated. Thank you for a lifetime of great memories! I so glad our threads crossed.

Fondly,
