Coquette Patisserie teams with local chefs for summer culinary series (photos)

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Coquette Patisseriee, the chic Parisian pastry shop and cocktail bar at 11607 Euclid Ave., has always been a place to share sweet treats and small bites like oysters and cheese plates.

But hosting Flying Fig's Karen Small at this year's Hessler Street Fair sparked the idea to team up with more chefs around town for culinary experiences.

This July, they launch a new collaboration with some of Cleveland's top local chefs from across the city. For two Sundays a month, guest chefs will prepare savory dishes to be paired alongside dessert and cocktail pairings created by Coquette's chef, Britt Culey. All events take place noon - 4 p.m.

"Our guests love our savory line so we thought it'd be fun to spice things up and introduce them, or reacquaint them, to a new group of Cleveland chefs - all of whom offer different takes on savory brunch items," says Shane Culey, co-owner of Coquette, in a release.

The current schedule is below, though subject to change. Coquette will be previewing the menus through their social media channels. No advanced tickets are required -- diners can stop in throughout the day.
