“See that you do not despise one of these little ones.
For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see

In June Expect Hope will be doing a huge celebration! We will be celebrating the children’s birthdays with presents and cards, taking time to make each child feel especially loved and important.
Many of the children we find do not know their birth date. They are unaware of how old they even are.
Take a moment to imagine yourself in this position; not knowing the day you were born. The feeling of unimportance would probably be a prevalent emotion in everyday life. You would probably often wonder why you weren’t cared for; why you were forgotten. There is no one to celebrate the day you were born, no one to say they are overjoyed that you were created.
Our hearts break for the children who grow up feeling this way.
We have taken the initiative to celebrate their lives and let them know that they are not only important; they are cherished. They are not a mistake!
“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”
Psalm 127:3-5
We feel a great sense of responsibility to reach the children God has placed in our path.
Our desire is that you join us and become a part of a movement to see the lives of these children transformed! They deserve to walk in confidence that they are a child of the Most High King! Just as we live each day knowing that we can trust our Father in Heaven, so do these children deserve the opportunity to understand what a true father is! And what better example than the Almighty God?
“For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.”
Psalm 139:13-16

In Psalm 139, we see how important our creation is to God. From our inception, God has not only cared for us, but also had an intricate role in our lives. Whether we choose to acknowledge Him or not, He has always been there.
