Update, 10/23/2017: It’s here! Glossier’s debut fragrance Glossier You is available for purchase starting today. Dubbed the ultimate personal fragrance, the product’s name is meant to illustrate “you” as the first ingredient in the scent.

The three base notes include ambrette for warmth, ambrox for a smoothness, and musk for a long-lasting addictive scent. The top notes that dominate the fragrance include iris root and pink pepper. The iris root adds a woodsy scent while the pink pepper adds a bit of spice.

The perfume is bottled in Glossier’s signature pink and designed by in-house creator Laura Yeh. It’s essentially made for your Instagram feed or any top shelfie.

10/12/2017: Glossier recently launched a body wash and lotion, hit the three-year mark, and began business in the UK. The beloved beauty brand isn't slowing down, though, and will now set its sight on turning the fragrance industry on it's head.

Glossier took to Instagram to announce its debut fragrance Glossier You. The fragrance was first teased by Glossier founder Emily Weiss at a Top Shelf Live event in August.

She also described the upcoming scent in an interview with Vogue. "A subtle take on musk and iris that launches at the end of next month—stays true to the brand’s ethos of individualism," Weiss said. “I want it to smell like your boyfriend’s neck after he has been wearing cologne for eight hours."

There's no official information on the perfume's release date yet, but if you make a purchase at Glossier's website you can include a sample of the scent as one your trial-sized freebies.
