Thousands celebrated gender equality (and boobs!) by going topless and marching from Columbus Circle down to Bryant Park

This weekend thousands of New Yorkers and fans of gender equality banded together to let their boobs roam free on Go Topless Day in order to bring attention to women’s rights and the fact that all women have the same constitutional right to go bare-chested in public as men do. The annual march coincides with Women’s Equality Day (this year falling on August 26), the day women were first given the right to vote in 1920. Check out photos of all the #freethenipple festivities.
