MIDFIELDER Ousmane Fane has left Kidderminster Harriers and joined League One side Oldham Athletic in a deal that could rise up to £50,000 for the club.

The long-legged French youngster impressed for theAggborough outft in the second half of last season and attracted the attention of the Greater Manchester club.

The Shuttle understands that Harriers will receive three payments of £10,000 but the figure could go up to £50,000 on appearances.

Chairman Colin Gordon has also negotiated a sell on clause for Fane.

Gordon said: “We’re naturally sorry to lose a player of Ousmane’s talent but with Oldham’s interest it was quite clear that he himself saw his future as being away from Kidderminster.

“That being the case, we’ve agreed a deal that suits the club for him to move on, and our focus now switches immediately back to the squad here and focusing on Saturday’s first game of the league season.”
