"Conversations" is the follow up single to Fyfe aka. 23 year old Paul Dixon's brooding EP Solace. And it's another moody and plush offering which, like all his stuff, is hard to categorise 'cos it starts off all low key electronica before launching into big orchestral sounds underpinned by echoing choir style vocals. Apparently it was all created during a "period of insomnia", which is pretty impressive seeing as the most creative thing I can do when I haven't slept for five days is make a toasted sandwich.
