Merger creates new Derby digital agency

A trio of East Midlands entrepreneurs have created a new digital marketing business in Derby following the merger of two companies.

Gravity Digital is based at The Mill on Lodge Lane and was established from the merger of Essential Marketing Solutions and Out of the Blue, a specialist web design company.

The new management team comprises Sharon Stevens-Cash and Debbie Porter, who ran Essential Marketing, and Andy Smith, who formed Out of the Blue in 2001.

"We hope to build upon our current client base through Gravity and also to streamline how we service our shared clients," Porter said.

"We count Marketing Derby, Willmott Dixon, Hansons Auctioneers, Heck Sausages, Derby Festé, Mr Fothergill’s and the Corden Group among our many clients and are looking forward to working for more businesses and authorities under the Gravity name.

"Although our clients often have very different aims, the benefits of digital marketing remains the same."

Gravity will office digital marketing services including website design, search engine optimisation, social media management and marketing and email strategies.
