Kelowna Falcons

Schedule Unveiled

The Kelowna Falcons will open the 2018 schedule on June 1st at Elks Stadium against an old rival the Bellingham Bells.

The Falcons enter their 18th summer in Kelowna and will play a 54 game schedule which concludes on Wednesday August 8th in a home game with the Wenatchee Applesox.  Expectations will be high again this season as manager Bryan Donohue returns.

“I felt we had a good team with a number of good athletes last season,” says Donohue.  “Unfortunately we got hit with the injury bug too early and far too often to give our players a chance to gel out of the gate.  As we recruit for the new season we are certainly aware of how injuries can hold us back.”  In his first two summers in Kelowna, Donohue has an overall record of 51-55.

Once again this summer, of the 54 game schedule, 27 will be home dates with potential playoff games following the regular season.  In addition to the Bells fans in Kelowna will see the Victoria Harbourcats, Corvallis Knights, Yakima Valley Pippins, Port Angeles Lefties, Bend Elks, Wenatchee Applesox and the newest West Coast League (WCL) team the Portland Pickles.

With the addition of the Pickles the WCL now has 11 membered teams split into a pair of divisions; the North and South divisions.

Season tickets are available now by calling the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100.
