'Female Vampire's' fighting style will resemble that of a 2D fighter, upcoming Tekken Revolution character currently undergoing design tweaks

Back in July of this year, at San Diego Comic-Con, Namco Bandai unveiled the winner of the poll that allowed fans to vote on which original character design they'd most like to see as playable in the free-to-play PlayStation 3 exclusive, Tekken Revolution. The design that received most votes is a "female vampire" type character, who is currently being referred to by that same name.

Earlier this week, Polygon caught up with Tekken producer, Katsuhiro Harada, to talk about Tekken Revolution, and to find out the current standing of this upcoming original fighter. According to Harada, the team is working on designing her fighting style at the moment, and it will resemble that of something we'd see in a 2D fighting game, despite TR being a fully 3D fighter. The choice to implement this type of design aspect has been made in order to allow Female Vampire to "stand out".

Additionally, the blood-sucking broad will be getting a few tweaks to her appearance; most notably, a new hair-do, due to her current hair style looking a bit too much like Tekken's Anna. Harada stated that Female Vampire is still set to be released later this year.
