RIVERDALE, NY- The Manhattan College Athletic Department is proud to announce the release of the new "Thought of the Day" multimedia feature. Set to appear on the Manhattan College Facebook and Twitter pages weekly, the short video questionnaire will allow athletes from each of the 19 Division I sports to voice their opinions on various topics, ranging from current events to the top entertainment headlines.
Unique in its design, the concept was created to give fans a firsthand account on how many of the school's finest athletic performers view the numerous topics discussed by their fellow peers and the media.
Facebook and Twitter are two of the most prevalent social networks in an age dominated by the ever-growing social media phenomena. Hosting hundreds of millions of people annually on their Internet-based Websites, the interactive forums allow members to blog, upload picture and video files, instant message and search for information relating to events, activities and popular trending topics.
