Investigators - Our Shared Cultural Heritage
Register your interest for the Our Shared Cultural Heritage Investigators opportunity for your chance to lead change and help shape Museums across Glasgow and Manchester.

You will form a key part of ‘Our Shared Cultural Heritage’, a new project to influence the future of museums and cultural events for young people, with a focus on British South Asian heritage.

You will take part in a weekend workshop, working with leading youth charity Rathbone Training to build ideas and skills that will help you investigate museums and heritage across your city. The dates of the workshops are to be confirmed. Lunch and travel are provided.

Using your new knowledge and expertise, you will work in a collective of young people to review what’s currently on offer in Manchester, using your voice to shape change. You will use new media and digital skills to help build real solutions to the problems you identify.

The opportunity is open to anyone aged 14-21 years old, who live or study in Glasgow or Manchester. You don't need to have any previous experience with heritage or museums to get involved.

Our Shared Cultural Heritage is a partnership between British Council, Glasgow Life, Manchester Museums and Galleries Group, Ambition and Rathbone and is supported by Heritage Lottery Fund's Kick the Dust initiative
