Soundscape recorded while standing and walking through minor street of Barceloneta neighborhood on September 20th 2017. Recorded from 10 to 10:20 pm. No major political demonstration in the area since concentration was uptown. Many neighbors adhered individually to the cacerolada sonic protest, here mixed with voices of seagulls and dogs and usual night sounds. Short cooking pan solo recorded from too short a distance by a friend met in the street at 3:30 (quite distorted, thus cut and faded out). At the end of the demonstration, streets echo the sounds of what neighbors play and scream: mostly recordings of Segadors (sung along and accompanied by voices calling for freedom and independence). Barça FC hymn can also be heard together with voices and cars passing by. No major editing; just shortening and fading out distorted pan solo. Zoom H4n.
