We were down at the NEC earlier dropping off the S15 on the Garage-D stand for the Top Gear Live / MPH Show which commences today!
We were there pretty early, helped entirely because the NEC is about 1 metre from the Driftworks HQ.
The car was there to show the ninja fabrication skills of Julian Smith who is the director of Garage-D – and the brains behind the mid engine design of the car.
Here is the windscreen blurb – should tell the average Joe what the hell they’re looking at.
It turned quite a few heads burbling into the huge arena.
JimsFactory was present helping out with the positioning.
Opposite the Garage-D stand is the Autoglym concours stand – and there is some amazing machinery there – in the background is Clarksons awesome 600 Pullman.
This was noisy….
And this was amazings.
So who’s going? We’re on stand TS25 in hall 5!
Wanted to but it clashes with the WRC in Wales this weekend, now I’m off to go buy some thermals for tomorrow…
