WATCH the skies – and be shown what to look for.

Star Gazing Live is a free event organised by Weymouth Astronomy Club in association with the Friends of the Rodwell Trail and Sandsfoot Castle to introduce newcomers to astronomical observing.

There will be fascinating talks by members of the club and a chance to view the stars with experts on hand.

The event, which is weather dependent, will be held in the grounds of Sandsfoot Castle on Friday, March 3 from 7pm-8pm.

Those interested should meet at the gazebo by Sandsfoot Cafe. Hot drinks will be available.
