Dunkirk Refugee Support

By now everyone is aware of the plight of people fleeing the violence in the Middle East only to face even more hardship and persecution at the hands of the authorities in Europe.
We can't stand by whilst this is happening, and so to this end we are organising vans to travel to the refugee camp at Dunkirk, just 20 miles away from the larger and more well known camp at Calais, in order to assist with building shelters and providing what amenities we can.

The authorities, whether in France or the UK, refuse to offer any real help and these people -who have already fled a horror that most of us will struggle to comprehend- need us. It is up to ordinary people like you , like ourselves, to do what governments refuse to.

We need money for fuel and for supplies like gas for cooking and food to cook, for tarpaulins to build warm structures before winter truly sets in. Anything you can spare to donate, whether it's £1 or £100, will go towards helping the people living in the camp at Dunkirk. Any money that remains will go towards buying extra supplies and helping the wider refugee relief effort being organised by ordinary people in the UK and Europe.

We need to raise the funds as soon as possible as the vans will be leaving within a week! Though we will still be able to access the funds once on the ground in France.
