STOLEN ALERT | $1 Million Cello Stolen in Los Angeles [PLEASE SHARE]

An international alert has today been issued for a 1714 Antonio Domenicelli cello, valued at over US $1,000,000 – stolen in Los Angeles on November 1st, 2015.

The instrument was in the trunk of a 2007 four-door maroon Acura ATL car at the time of the robbery - which has also still not been recovered.

The cello, baring the label “Antonio Domenicelli Fecit en Ferrara 1714”, has distinctive scratch marks on the backside.

Police are unsure at this stage if the thieves targeted the owner, a Hollywood studios musician, or if it was a random act.

A US $1,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to the recovery of the instrument.
