The Sister Santa Program - 2015
Donation protected
The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are excited to announce that we are working with the community again this year to provide gifts to the less fortunate Massachusetts children who are placed in emergency foster care during the months of November and December. These are children who, through circumstances outside of their control, would otherwise have a very poor Christmas, when they are the ones who could use the cheer the most.
For the fourth annual Sister Santa Holiday Drive, we will be asking you and any of your coworkers, friends, family members, neighbors, strangers, and, well, anyone to donate what they can or to sponsor multiple children. We are looking to raise $40 per child. Each child receives one gift they want, one gift they need, a personalized, decorated stuffed stocking, and a personalized Christmas card.
During our Sister Santa program last year, we raised just over $5,000 and were able to buy presents, stockings, and cards for 135 children! This year, we are looking to assist at least 150, but we can't do that without your help.
TO HELP:
Simply donate to this fundraising page! Remember, it’s at least $40 per child [ie, 5 children for $200 – 10 children for $400 – 100 children for $4,000, etc.] and we will do all the shopping and wrapping. Of course, if you can only donate $5 or $10, that's wonderful, too. All money gets pooled into one fund, so every addition helps immensely!
Money should be donated by mid-December to allow us time to shop for, wrap, and deliver these presents in a timely manner.
