Special Invitation from Friends of Choral Arts

After 30 years and 20 acclaimed albums, myriad world tours, and performances on A Prairie Home Companion and other national programs, the beloved vocal quartet Anonymous 4 is about to retire—but not before one final D.C. concert with Washington Performing Arts. For this celebration of classic American roots music, 1865, the beloved vocal quartet is joined by multi-instrumentalist and singer Bruce Molsky, hailed as “the Rembrandt of Appalachian Fiddle" by fellow fiddler and Turtle Island String Quartet co-founder Darol Anger. Through songs and instrumental tunes from the hills and back roads of America, Anonymous 4 and Molsky unite the sounds of the North and South in the dawn of the post-Civil War era.
