Friday's Friday! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF!! B-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R!!! I, for one, will be barkingly happy when the pawsome warm weather returns!  My human and I do not like the really cold weather, and it's supposed to get even colder over the weekend.

I had another pawsome visit with "Lab Lady" at Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.. We had a pawsome time discussing the greatness of the Labrador Retrievers, solving the world's problems and how pawsome it would be to have a Labrador Retriever run for President - incredible or what!?  WOOF!!!!

Adding to our conversations is "Lynx," a two year old Yellow Labrador Retrievers who seems to think that Yellow Labs make better pets than Black Labs but, of course, I was able to correct his error-  Lynx would make a great pet though-  meet him-

Lynx will having extensive rehab after his successful ACL surgery, so he is looking for a "Forever Home" which has limited steps, no apartments or townhouses.

Lynx has been called an overgrown, squishy, yellow marshmellow!  He is super friendly, pawsome, his tail rarely- if ever- stops wagging, loving and just an all around pawleasure to hang out with! WOOF!!!

He is house broken and crate trained.  Crating may not be needed but pawed to know he's trained!

Lynx walks nicely on a leash on an easy walk harness.  He loves to play with toys but hasn't chewed anything to pieces but will pick up everything in his mouth!

Though Lynx is a good listener, we chatted all afternoon- woof!- he doesn't seem to know any commands so some basic obedience training would be beneficial.

Arf? A table/counter surfer? Uh, I got into huge trouble for that and learned to not do it! WOOF!! Lynx's foster parent is working on breaking him of this habit!

Pawsingly, he's a quiet boy besides his grunts and groans, that is!

Lynx forgets that he's a 100 lb. dog insisting that he is a lap dog and enjoys every minute of it!! WOOF!!! He loves to snuggle and share doggie kisses with his human- he doesn't always follow his foster around the house but likes to be near a human.

He adores children so he's approved for ages 8 and up. He is unknown with cats. Good with other dogs.
