This Week's Tip.....
Wow, where has 2015 disappeared to? I know that sounds cliché, and yes we still have a whole month ahead of us before we ring in 2016, however, December always flies right past us. There are family and friend festivities, business association holiday gatherings, community celebrations, shopping, wrapping, decorating, sending Christmas cards, oh and don't forget the baking; whew... where do you find the time to 'do business', let alone 'ME' time - right?!
Give yourself permission to truly enjoy tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day!
Richard and I are breaking away from tradition this year, we are staying home, just the two of us, serving up a turkey breast, baked sweet potato, and Richard's favorite, green bean casserole, along with pumpkin pie for dessert. It will be a day of reflection, a time for us to look at this past year, search through the challenges and honor and appreciate them, knowing the struggles are what makes us, and our business, stronger.
Our tip for you this week is to
'slow down, before you speed up'. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins soon enough, hopefully your business is all set to 'Rock the Holidays', but it is important that you too are ready. Begin by reflecting on what you are most truly grateful for, fully enjoy the day tomorrow and appreciate your challenges along with your successes!
