T he Spartanburg County Historical Association hosts
this 23rd Annual event as part of Revolutionary War Weekend!  
Experience colonial lifestyle and battle demonstrations, iconic local battle re-enactments, 
live music, and family activities during this two day experience. 

Stay late Saturday, October 1 for the new, exciting twilight experience at Walnut Grove Plantation, "Lanterns & Legends: Spirits of the Revolution", along the newly excavated 
historic wagon road. 

And join us Sunday, October 2 at 10:00am for our Backcountry Prayer Meeting as we 
explore worship on the plantation during the time of the Moore Family.

West Main Artists Co-op Events...

Experience art and dare to become a collector.  The Co-op will feature the work of the entire membership during the month of September with 3 floors of original art.  The work is represented across a large amount of media including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, photography, jewelry and much more.  Galleries 2 & 3 will feature The Wheatley Printery Show: Letter Press Inventive, a juried contemporary LetterPress show starting September 13 and running through October 13.  Be sure to stop by for Art Walk on 
SEP 15, 5-9 pm for the reception.  Enjoy refreshments while you browse and meet the artists.

In the Venue@West Main, the oldest juried show in the state continues. The Artists Guild 43rd Annual Juried Show  features the work of 70 local and regional artists juried by Columbia artist Mary Bentz Gilkerson, professor of art at Columbia College.  
This exhibition runs SEP 1 - OCT 1.
