Sportsman’s Finest in Austin Texas

We are hosting Chris Jackson, Guide and Owner of Action Angler Fly Shop & Outdoor Center on the Guadalupe River, for his presentation on The Guad & Beyond this coming Saturday, February 9th, at 10:30a. This is a free program and no RSVP is required. Come out and see our good friend Chris, hear about his store and services, AND get registered for the $1000 Sportsman’s Finest Shopping Spree drawing to be held at the end of our 2013 Speaker Series!

Our Clearance Sale has been growing every week and now we have taken additional markdowns on all the sale merchandise! There are many exceptional products marked down to at least 40% off, with discounts going as deep as 75% off! We will be taking all of our sale merchandise to Troutfest, so come get some great stuff at a great price while it is still in Austin and available!! (Please note: all sales are final on sale items. No returns, please!)

We are gearing up for Troutfest, February 15-17 on the banks of the Guadalupe River, and hope you have plans to attend! We will have a big booth there with many great show bargins and featured tyers present. Also, we are very excited to be donating a Sage ZXL 5wt rod, and a Women’s wader, boot and jacket package for the live auction on Friday night. Additionally, there will be a new featured activity this year that we are participating in: The Texas Fly Rod Challenge! This is an opportunity to test cast and evaluate a HUGE selection of 5 weight rods, all supplied by retailers participating in Troutfest. This is not a competition and is open to all experience levels and interested casters. For additional information on Troutfest please visit http://www.grtutroutfest.org/
